I joined DTE in August 2013 straight from sixth form. This was a great opportunity for me to start my training and gain my qualifications, whilst also attaining first-hand experience of the industry that isn’t otherwise taught in the classroom. I am proud to say that I passed all my exams first time before obtaining my Chartered qualification at the age of 22.
After completing my studies in our audit team, I made the decision to move to DTE Corporate Finance in 2018. I work alongside and manage an excellent team, and I love the variety of my work. I also find my job very rewarding, especially when helping shareholders achieve their short and long-term goals.
My specialisms include providing buy-side and sell-side advice to SME’s looking to make their first acquisition or who are selling their business for the first time. I have completed several transactions for High-Street and Challenger Banks understanding the importance of cash generation and debt serviceability.
I am a season ticket holder at Manchester City and have recently taken up golf. Both are subject to finding time around family life with mine and my partner’s first child Ezra, born in July 2021, who is keeping us on our toes!
A random fact about myself is that I have been on the roof of the Etihad Stadium to help change one of the flood lights!
